| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
- AWS application management and support activities.
- Promote DevOps best practices by collaborating with developers/managers during various phases of development.
- Create CI/CD pipelines to deliver tier-2 level company services.
- Extend, or implement, CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins/GitOps/Gitlab/GitHub.
- Kubernetes cluster operations such as manifest deployment upgrades and data plane upgrades.
- Debugging issues that arise for applications/services running in our Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement tooling and integrations that improve security posture of platform and our customers/teams.
- Automation and simplification of existing processes and runbooks.
- Assist in defining the team roadmap, goals, and needs.
Qualifications:
- You will need to have hands-on experience, or certifications, in at least four of the following:
- Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, K3S, OpenShift) . Amazon Web Services (AWS) .
- Jenkins .
- GitOps tooling such as Flux/ArgoCD/GitHub Actions
- Certification in AWS will be a plus
Education / Experience: .
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in a technical discipline (or 2 year of industry experience) .
- 2 year of relevant technical experience in a DevOps or SRE capacity
- 2 year of software development experience .
- AWS application management and support activities.
