We are looking for a Native Android/Core Java Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile/desktop technologies to the limits.

This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile/desktop applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the Native Android platform
• Design and build applications for the Core Java platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

• Proven software development experience in Core Java/Android development
• Proven working experience in Native Android app development and Core Java app development
• Have published at least one original Android app and worked on Core Java applications
• Experience with Android SDK and Java JDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
