NECSOLS is seeking a Web developer for a permanent position. In order to be considered for this position, you must have experience building modern E-Commerce websites. An expert at Shopify and WordPress development, with expertise in creating custom themes and features from scratch as well as modifying existing elements with expert-level knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript, the candidate will write clean, reusable code with a strong emphasis on stability and performance.

The incumbent must display an excellent understanding of content management systems (CMS), CSS, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits. Top candidates will be comfortable troubleshooting the website and constantly improving the User Experience (UX) of the website.

Responsibilities:

• Developing the Shopify app and Shopify Websites


• Cloning, Migrating and duplicating websites.


• Designing and implementing new features and functionality


• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture


• Fixing Bugs, Errors.


• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS


• Creating Custom Themes and Plugins /Apps according to requirements


• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.


• Develop all the UI pages using extensive markup and scripting languages (HTML, DHTML, JavaScript and CSS).


• upgrade website consistency and appearance and improve cross-browser compatibility.

Job Requirements: -

• A degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or related qualification.


• Minimum 3 years of work experience designing and developing responsive design websites as a lead.


• Hands on experience of WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce platforms.


• Expert knowledge of Macromedia suite, Adobe suite, Content Management Systems, and W3C Web standards.


• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)


• Develop third-party extensions, plugins, and other integrations, and customize them


• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development


• Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.


• Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
