| Job Description: |
| Certifications: OCP Job Description: Database Administrator will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Providing Support of Oracle Application/Database Services and ensuring 24x7 availability
- Performing all DBA tasks for Oracle Databases including Patching and other maintenance jobs
- Performance enhancements through continuous monitoring of the production environment
- Performing database capacity management and future space forecasting
- Provide DBA Support in case of application errors, failures and issues
- Analyzing routine user problems, finding root causes and applying fixes
- Assist in configuring test environment and in performing application testing/debugging
- Database cloning from production to other non-production databases
- DBA support to development team and coordination with oracle support for issue resolution
- Troubleshooting operating system, networks issues which cause performance degradation on production applications
- Problem solving skills, working in complex environments and day/night shifts

| Required Skills: |
3 +years or more experience in Oracle Databases & Applications Administration
· Must have worked in production databases (RAC) on UNIX platform
· Working experience of configuration and maintenance of Oracle Applications/Databases in high availability environments
· Hands on knowledge of RMAN and other backup/recovery tools
· Good knowledge of Performance Tuning for Oracle Application Servers and Databases
· Strong communication skills to coordinate with client and oracle support teams with client and oracle support teams |
