| Job Description: |
- To act as the head of NSS planning, design, engineering, implementation and capacity management of all NSS NE including MSC, STP, HLR and MNP nodes
Principal Accountabilities
- To carry out business requirement analysis for the preparation of technical proposals to acquire the core network nodes signalling solutions (STP) along with value based services plan.
- Prepare technical specifications requirement write up by covering all aspects of the newly floated ideas, towards forming basis for the Technical Requirement Specifications (TRS)
- Meeting yearly NSS planning and implementation targets. For that preparation of RFP, vendor equipment analysis, negotiation and preparing presentation for EMT approval.
- Preparation of system impact document detailing potential influences of the proposed project onto the existing network, towards identifying possible associated changes in the network
- Preparation and execution of the implementation strategy of new acquired system and new services
- Handling all interconnect related matters with other mobile and LDI operators
- Effectively manage core network systems capacity in terms of system hardware, software and even licenses, system hardware and software with the purpose to avoid potential capacity breaches. Also manage the network resources in such a way to ensure network redundancy, resource optimization and reduce Opex.
- To maintain CAPEX to ensure budgets not exceeded and additional provisions planned in advance
- Do regular traffic analysis for forecasting required capacities on HLR, MSC, VLR, STP and other NSS nodes and keeping of all NSS stakeholder on board for implementing the plans with the vendor
- Manage the contract to achieve the work scope among the multiple stakeholders.
- To ensure SOX compliance related to the department.
Knowledge Skills and ExperienceQualifications/ Knowledge: - BE electrical / telecom / computer system. PMP certified is preferred.
Training: Skills - Generic: - Strong inter personal communication skills.
Skills- Job Specific: - GSM networks, Computers (MS Office), strong technical writing skills, handling data bases. Logical reasoning with ability to grasp technological changes.
Experience: - 08 years overall experience in related field
