• To plan, dimension and implement Value Added Services Network according to the company revenue and performance targets along with coordinated efforts with the peer NSS, BSS, Transmission and Project Management Team.
• Maintenance of detailed network statistics to facilitate planning, expansion and optimization of the network

Principal Accountabilities

• Plan expansion of IN VAS nodes for meeting yearly set targets and for capacity bottlenecks where expansion is needed.
• Involve vendor(s) for new service(s)/expansion in IN VAS platform.
• Prepare RFPs, evaluate vendor(s) and proposed solutions.
• Do regular traffic analysis for forecasting required capacities on IN VAS platforms.
• Lead and drive team for project implementation and coordinate other peer departments till node is ready for acceptance.
• Define job responsibility matrix to ensure optimal performance from all team members.
• Support marketing for IN VAS 3rd partys integration in CMPak network.
• Analyze marketing requirements engage other departments/vendor(s) where needed for implementation keeping a close eye on the service quality.

Qualifications/ Knowledge:

• Engineering in Telecommunication/Electronics/Computer Systems
• SS7 Signalling Concepts, Network planning and implementation, Cellular technologies, project management, financial management and tendency to learn new technologies

Training :

• SS7 Dimensioning, Understanding of Core GSM Networks and all new technologies

Skills - Generic :

• Communication / leadership / project management / Good report writing skills, Team work attitude

Skills- Job Specific :

• Core network planning and design experience

Experience:

• 3 years of Telecom experience with 1 year of atleast planning exposure
