| Job Description: |
The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in IT/Science/Engineering/Computer Science
- Have 5-6 years of experience in Systems administration of Microsoft based systems including Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Certificate Server, Patching Services, Internet Proxy Services, Back-up & Restoration etc.
Job Description
- Handle day-to-day systems operations of Microsoft based systems/servers, trouble-shooting and incident management.
- Utilize previous knowledge and experience in projects related to:
- Administration, Operations & Support of Enterprise Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
- Administration, Operations & Support of Enterprise Exchange servers
- Administration, Operations & Support of Patch Management Services
- Administration, Operations & Support of ISA/Proxy Server and Services
- Back-up & recovery management for enterprise servers
- Administration, Operations & Support of Certificate Servers
- Reporting and regular house-keeping tasks on all in-scope Microsoft platforms
- Administration and usage of SCOM (Microsoft alerting service)
Essential Skills
Should have extensive knowledge and in-depth hands on experience of working:
- Win 2003, 2008 and 2013 Server technologies
- AD 2008
- Exchange 2007 & 2013
- ISA/TMG, Patching Mechanisms, Back-ups administration
Desirable Skills
- Should have industry certification, knowledge of database scripting, know-how and usage of monitoring tools
- Should have ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Should have effective written and verbal communication skills along with good interpersonal/customer handling skills
