| Job Description: |
To carry out requirement analysis for HAJJ PEOPLEs Database system To design and implement the HAJJ PEOPLE Database system, which includes:
- Establishing the needs of users
- Builds the physical data and structures
- Mapping out the ‘conceptual design’ for a planned database in outline
- Further refining the ‘physical design’ to meet system storage requirements
- Refining the ‘logical design’ so that it can be translated in to a specific data model
- Makes Database design modifications
- Troubleshoot problem queries and updates
- Optimization of database & tables
- Design and develop huge database
Generate reports from My SQL
- Planning data flows for new or revised databases
To prepare and maintain Database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for data dictionary
- Capacity Planning
- Maintain data standards including Data Protection
- Identify user roles within and outside the organization and controlling access permissions and privileges accordingly
- Training users on how to use the database system
- Meeting users’ access requirements and resolving their problems
- Ensuring data storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
- Working closely with Director, Manager, Supervisor and Professional
- Communicating regularly with technical and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
- Monitor database activity and performance
- Carry out day-to-day Database administration, integration, multi-tier configuration, security and the applications environment
- Commissioning and installing of new applications
- Ensuring new connectivity of the database system to HAJJ PEOPLE website for real-time availability of information on HAJJ PEOPLE website
- Undertake any special work assigned by Chief Executive Officer

| Required Skills: |
•The candidate must possess a Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
•He/ She must have adequate knowledge and skills in Database Performance tuning, database security, promoting process improvement, presenting technical information, quality focus, database management, data maintenance, operating systems, attention to detail, and information security policies
•Have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience.
Should have knowhow about My SQL
•He/ She should be able to communicate, write and read in English
•Perform as an effectiveTeammember, possessing management skills, problem-solving skills, as well as analytical skills |
