| Job Description: |
| The ideal candidate should:
- Bachelors Or Masters Degree in CS/Engineering
- Have 4 to 6 years experience with specialization in Oracle Databases Administration.
Job Description:
- Responsible for managing large size instances of Oracle databases.
- Ensure performance management and optimization of live oracle database.
- Manage capacity and resource planning from operational perspective.
- Manage administer Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) administration and management.
- Maintain Backups and restoration of backups.
- Performance tuning and patching
- Manage ERP database patching and cloning (Apps DBA).
- Perform EMC networker administration, Net backup server and Sql server databases administration.
- Responsible for Linux, Unix, Solaris and windows administration.
- Manage administer Oracle streams, Data Guard environment and Oracle ASM environment.
- Coordination with Oracle support and vendors for early resolution of issues.
- Manage and administrator all storage platforms HP/EMC.
- Responsible for day to day tasks of storage operations.
- Responsible for adding or revoking space for all storage platforms.
- Resolve performance issues of all storage platforms.
- Responsible for maintaining relationship and coordinating with vendors
Essential Skills:
- Certified Oracle DBA, Apps DBS, Excellent SQL/PLSQL, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
- Experience of backups and recovery, SAN storage management.
- Hands on experience with Linux/Unix/Solaris operating systems
- Hands on experience in SAN operations and space addition/revoke
Desirable Skills:
- People Management, Self-Motivated, Analytical Communication Skills.
- Well versed with Linux/Unix shell scripting.
- Strong analytical abilities to diagnose issues.
- Ability to transform business requirements into SQL scripts.
- Strong communication and coordinate skills
