POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of a Consultant Level II is to deliver services to our clients in support of innovative industry and horizontal solutions. This includes understanding the strategic vision of the client and of professional services, and identifying and positioning services that fit within these visions.
The Consultant will develop and maintain working relationships with key persons on the client engagement, to ensure the client’s needs are met in a professional manner. They will also participate in proposing, designing, and implementing solutions that address the relevant people, process, information, and technology needs. He/She participate in engagement planning and execute well defined portions of client consulting projects with guidance and supervision from a more experienced colleague. He/She are responsible for day-to-day management of multiple assignments, defining task approach and structure for others.
Critical Skills & Expertise
- The consultant should have demonstrable skills of interfacing with customers to determine business requirements.
- Teradata is a must
- Oracle Experience is required
- SQL Server

Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred

Qualifications
*EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS *MUST HAVE
- Business, IT or related degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years IT experience in an ETL/ DWH Technologies (Teradata, Oracle, DB2).
- Strong knowledge of EDW Concepts and Techniques
- Experience in the development or support of a Data warehouse or Decision support Application (BI or Analytical) as part of an overall Data Warehouse implementation program.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Experience with Teradata RDMS
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong understating of the use and value of Decision Support Systems to a Business
- Good presentation skills
- Ideal background would include Communications and/or Finance Industry knowledge
- Expertise in developing and delivering working documents that communicate and corroborate complex ideas.
- Consulting soft skills in communicating, establishing of strategic direction, influencing others, negotiating skills, operational decision making, problem solving, facilitating and managing meetings, and questioning and probing.
- Excellent understanding of industry standards and technology trends.
