| Job Description: |
| The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer/Telecommunication Engineering.
- Have 3 to 8 years of experience in extensive network implementation with high level trouble shooting experience
Job Description
- Design and implement security components of the IP/MPLS network including firewall, VPN concentrator, IDP, SIEM solution, etc.
- Analyze reports from security systems including: log consolidation, patch compliance, change control, vulnerability, intrusion prevention and content management.
- Validate technical solutions proposed by the vendor.
- Oversee security monitoring, incident response/handling, vulnerability assessment and remediation.
- Support servers and network services domain.
- Responsible for data center design and capacity planning for various products to be served from IP backbone.
- Manage the integration of various service domains (including IN, VAS, MFS, RAN, CS Core, PS Core etc.) and for their transportation across the MPLS domain.
- Responsible for generation work orders for network security changes i.e. firewalls policy plans, intrusion prevention policy plans, IPsec and Dial-up VPN access plans.
Essential Skills
- Hands on core networking and security infrastructure experience
- excellent understanding of MPLS, BGP, and Layer 2 switched and network infrastructure security architectures.
- Detailed technical experience in the installation and operation of large service provider networks
- Hands-on experience of Juniper, Huawei, Cisco Routers, Firewalls, Switches and other security platform
- Extensive knowledge of IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RIP), routers.
- Sound knowledge of IP security.
- Switches, Firewall, NAT, PAT, Switching Technology [STP, RSTP, MSTP, PVST, VSTP], Service Provider technology [MPLS, MP-BGP, L2/L3 VPNs]
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Desirable Skills
- Networking Certifications on security such as JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE/CCIE or equivalent etc.
- Expertise in Platform Knowledge: Cisco, Huawei, Juniper (routers, switches, firewalls and other security platforms), NMS, traffic generators/traffic simulators, protocol analyzers, testers etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
