| Job Description: |
| The Manager Desktop and System is a role of department manager who has to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure the stable operation of the organization's desktops and systems. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly servers, data center management, procurement and SLA management. Desktop and System Manager will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. Aligning IT services with business objectives . Organize monthly IT Infrastructure performance reports. Obtain optimum IT Services. Ensuring SLAs according to IT/IM provided Guidelines. Ensure implementation of IT/IM security policies procedures effectiveness and conduct periodical reviews.
Server backup and restore strategy under METRO guidelines. Data Center management including UPS and Servers. Planning, Procurement and deployment of servers, UPS and IT equipment under METRO INTL guidelines. RM of PCs, Desktops , printers and other IT assets and consumables under METRO recommended guidelines. Training of User service staff for effective and timely resolution of issues. Develop and document infrastructure designs and technical procedures based on Company strategy policy. Responsible for implementation of new, technical modification in existing projects. Substantial coordination for IT, planning and deployment of IT systems optimization with MGI.Firm coordination with local and international suppliers for best negotiation, ensure on time deliveries. |
