| Key Responsibilities:
1) Highly proficient in application programming and testing
2) Understanding of Object oriented programming concepts
3) Basic understanding of databases and DB modeling
4) Demonstrable programming experience in core Java, JUnit and data structures
5) Development using latest java technologies and frameworks including J2SE, J2EE, Socket Service/nio, JDBC, Webservices (Axis2 especially), Spring, XML, PL/SQL, Eclipse IDE etc...
6) Strong programming background especially in data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
7) Understanding of J2EE frameworks, Webservices would be a plus
8) Test Case Writing
9) Test Automation
10) Familiarity with Apache Tomcat
11) Basic understanding of Unix/Linux systems and commands
Knowledge, Skills and Personal Characteristics:
1. Sound knowledge of SDLC
2. Good quality assurance and analytical skills
3. Team player and good interpersonal skills
5. Ability to perform under stress and aggressive deadlines
