- Hold a Bachelors or Masters in IT/Computer Science.
- Have 5 - 7 Years of relevant work Experience.
Job Description
- Responsible for automation of Customized system processes and Reports (Using UNIX Scripting and VS .NET) so that system performance can be enhanced.
- Perform system level performance testing/tuning for application and database processes.
- Extend 24/7 support in case of issue reported by the clients and to provide support to billing front end team.
- Responsible for the definition of new MSCs in Live and then validation of the data received from newly defined MSCs.
- Manage testing and implementation of new features introduced in billing system in coordination with different teams.
- Database administration (level 1) including performance tuning, table space and system utilization/load management.
- Oversee daily operations of billing system for Local and Roamer subscriber accounts.
- Lead end-to-end bill cycle operational process under direction of Line Manger.
- Follow up timely successful completion of all operational activities (Rating/Pricing, Billing, TAPs (In Out) and Reports etc.).
- Manage 24/7 monitoring of the critical system alerts and to track abnormality and assign resource in case of issues.
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of Unix and Database(oracle11g)
- Advance programming skills
- Hands on experience in postpaid billing system
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Taking on responsibility and owning attitude
Desirable Skills
- Unix Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, Visual Studio .NET(c#)
- Proficiency in MS Office skills
