| Job Description: |
We are looking for a Web developer who is dedicated, takes pride in the code he/she writes and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast code to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.
You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.
Requirements
2+ years of web development experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, XML etc
Understanding of technologies like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, OpenCart, Magento etc
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Demonstrable knowledge of Database design, SQL and version control tools
Experience in common third-party APIs (google, facebook, paypal, ebay etc)
Strong analytical thinker, intellectually curious, attention to detail
Good verbal written communication skills.
Great to Have:
- Experience with Ecommerce solutions like Volusion, Biggcommernce, Amazon webstore.
- Comfortable working with both procedural and object oriented PHP code
- Good knowledge of developing Web services, REST APIs. |
