| The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication
Have 4-5 years of experience in related field
- Have experience of Telecommunication, especially Ericsson SPO, Mini-Link TXN equipment.
Job Description
- Coordinate activities of TXN domain in resolving faults on the transmission network.
- Ensure SOPs are being implement and followed
- Provide proper update to the line manager of activities.
- Generate incident reports based on outages faced.
- Coordinate implementation of critical preventive or corrective maintenance on transmission entities in the transmission network.
- Maintain weekly and fortnightly reports related to the Network connectivity and TXN related activities.
- Manage vendor TT logging and following it up till closure.
- Coordinate implementation firmware/software upgrades on transmission equipment in coordination with vendor.
- Ensure timely escalation of abnormal equipment and NMS behavior to equipment vendor support teams and keep records of all correspondence.
- Knowledge transfer to team members.
- Build and maintain a good relationship between all team members.
- Ensure KPIs are met and generate weekly reports for KPIs and all the trouble tickets.
- Responsible for special projects implementation and ownership.
- Ensure all faults and service interruptions are captured in the trouble ticketing systems, providing regular and accurate updates.
- Support and/or implement work orders which involve and/or impact the transmission network.
- Interface with vendors and provide assistance to peer depts. to ensure all SLA's and KPI's are met.
- Work in shifts including nights.
Essential Skills - Knowledge of GSM, UMTS, Transmission, SDH, DWDM, MW, TCP/IP
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Ericsson TXN equipment SPO, TN MW, Huawei, NEC, MPLS.
- Experience or at least working knowledge of 3G, 4G LTE.
