| Job Description: |
SQL Database Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the project SQL Server 2008 database. Our project based on XML & .Net, and supported by multiple SQL Databases. On the project side, this role will be responsible to overall database tuning, query optimization, SQL replication, database backups and restore, data migration tools, database design, and data analysis for centralized desktop application software. Actively monitoring of SQL Server databases, enhance database performance, and ensure that the databases are running at the optimum speed at all times. Qualification Requirement:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 years of work experience and SQL Certificatio
- Database Development; writing complex queries, stored procedures and functions
- Knowledge of XML, VB.Net, C#, and .Net a plus SQL Adaptor for XML data conversion into SQL DB
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2008
- Develop and design database objects, such as tables, stored procedures, functions, etc.
- Manage SQL Replication, Database Backups, and Database Maintenance plans across multiple servers
- Work with developers to analyze execution plans and tune queries including DB Conversions tool to transfer data from MySQL to SQL 2008
