Job Description:
  • Technical expert in Oracle E-Business Suite set up and configurations with a focus on Financial Modules.
  • Unit, System and Integration testing related to Oracle modules.
  • Support business and solution delivery on maintenance and configuration of Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
  • Monitoring, tuning, and improving Oracle E-Business Suite processes.
  • Analyze and assess existing procedures to allow the application to respond to business changes.
  • Evaluate requirements from functional specifications and create efficient technical designs.
  • Analyze, Plan, and Execute Oracle release upgrades, and regular patches.
  • Create and resolve Service Requests in collaboration with Oracle Support.
  • May be required to development manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures for programs.
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
  • Proven development expertise and experience in the Oracle Database system including skills in Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle SQL Loader, Database Backups, Configurations, patches.
  • Must be well versed with data models and interfaces for applicable ERP modules.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the 2 or more of the following tools: Linux/Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle Forms (or other equivalent), Oracle Alerts, Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Java.
  • Experience in working with version control and software configuration management tools such as TFS.
  • Experience with building and deploying Oracle E-Business Suite conversions, interfaces, and extensions.
  • Understand and modify the Application Configuration as required (includes system/module setups, flex-fields, workflow builder, custom library, profile options)
  • Experience with third-party interfaces.
Education/Experience:
  • Master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of Oracle E-Business Suite experience.
  • Proven experience in working with all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Experience with configuration management principles is a major plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment as a valued team member.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with business users.
  • Willingness and the ability to train and teach others.
