| Job Description: |
Network security person is responsible for implementation and administration of network security hardware and software, enforcing the network security policy and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations. Other responsibilities include:
- Identify unsuccessful and successful intrusion attempts by reviewing and analyzing security events logs and event summary information.
- Ensure the integrity and protection of networks; audit network security system to identify and protect areas of vulnerability.
- Monitor Intrusion Detection Systems for potential, successful and unsuccessful intrusion attempts.
- Determining root cause analysis by correlating data from multiple sources.
- Conduct audits, penetration testing and vulnerability management.
- Review and approve firewall rules, web rules, etc.
- Discover threats to and vulnerabilities of network to inform and collaborate with other members of the Security team to strengthen the company’s defenses.
- Perform all tasks performed by the Information Security Manager
