| Job Description: |
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot data center equipment and software’s.
- Implement and ensure security procedures for Data Center.
- Perform data backup activity as per backup policy.
- Monitor and update anti-virus definition files for servers and maintain schedules.
- Report the status of all events as per the escalation procedures
- Maintain environment control for the Data centers/IT rooms, support in testing disaster-recovery plans for the servers.
- Report to Data Center Administrator, the status of all events as per the escalation procedures.
- Troubleshooting, identify root cause of the issues and problem resolution
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Data Center Administrator
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & other Attributes
- Bachelors in IT/Engineering/Computer Science from a reputed HEC-recognized university/institution.
- Must have a good knowledge of data center standards.
- Experience in maintaining data backups and relating technologies (hardware and software both).
- In depth knowledge of Windows server technologies, Active Directory Administration, Exchange Server, Microsoft System Center, Microsoft Client & Server base environment.
- Having worked with Symantec Backup Exec, VERITAS foundation and Linux environment will be an added advantage.
- Experience of multi-master and multi-domain environment on Microsoft Platform is highly desirable.
- Suitable certification (e.g. MCSE / CCNA) will be preferred.
- Aged below 30 years
- Minimum of 2 years of hands on experience in Windows environment and supporting Data Center /Server room operations.
