| Job Description: |
| - Strong Database Concepts
- Ability to learn and adapt new technologies
- Experience in developing business applications in Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
- Hands on experience developing SQL Server stored procedures, functions and triggers
- Experience with TSQL language
- Hands on experience with index management and optimizing T-SQL stored procedures and queries using query plan analysis
- Hands on experience SQL Server Integration Services writing scalable, high volume ETL jobs
- Ability to support multiple concurrent projects
- Understanding of Indexes, Views and Full Text Search.
Skills Required:
- Capable of creating, modifying databases according to the needs of Database Administrator, Analysts or directly by programmers.
- Develop data model describing data elements and how they are used in databases.
- Review project requests describing database user needs and suggest database changes.
- Review Stored Procedures in databases for making changes to database.
- Review Indexes/Query Plans in databases for making changes to database.
- Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and maintenance.
- Develop ETL packages for database which needs any import/export.
- Analyze Query Execution plans and suggest improvement in Query and Databases.
