Position Purpose:

We are working to deploy a new Overlay network, optimized for the online Gaming traffic, for an estimated 600 Million users across more than 100 countries worldwide. The position purpose is to perform an in-depth RD, identify and talk to strategically important global network operators, PoPs Internet Exchanges (IXs) to ensure the network reaches the destination servers in shortest time and maximum stability. The successful candidate would talk to global Datacenters that connect with those sensitive points to strengthen the network and broaden our global coverage.

The candidate would work in close coordination with our in-house gaming experts, engineering team and other involved departments to continuously improve network performance based on customer feedback.

Skills Set Requirement:

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience with MPLS layer 2 and layer 3 VPNs and experience in general of hybrid Overlay networks. In depth understanding of global Tier 1 carriers, peering, IP transit and global state of the Internet. A detailed and low level detailed knowledge on routing protocols BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, IPv4, Multicast, Switching including VLANs, Trunking, Spanning Tree and High Redundancy networks. Experience of working with access technologies including PPP, PPPoE, DHCP, PPTP, L2TP, L2TP/IPSec, SSTP, IKE OpenVPN would be desirable.

Following Skills would be a plus:

Working experience with Open Source tools and solutions such as Snort, IPFW, Linux RedHat, CentOS, Debain, iptables, OpenVPN, DNS servers, Perl Bash Scripting, High Availability, Auto-failover and Load Balancing systems and concepts, Socks v5, Proxy, Reverse Proxy, SSL proxy, SSL certificates and certificate based security, Data logging, Encryption concepts, Experience of working with Virtualization/Cloud servers such as Amazon's AWS, Wireshark and network analyzer tools, Reverse engineering, Cross-continent Network latency concepts, IP transit, Global IP assignment allocation mechanism, IP Geo location awareness a highly Intuitive mind to explore further relevant technologies for the growth and sustainability of business.
