| Job Description: |
The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering with specialization in Electrical/Telecommunication/Electronics)
- Have 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience.
Job Description:
- Plan and optimize UMTS along with RAN XX feature/counter testing (T.P Analysis, QOS based IRAT).
- Monitor, optimize & logical tuning to achieve the targeted KPIs.
- Analyse Interface-signaling to troubleshoot the individual issues (related to UE) and network/system related problems.
- Balance Traffic between different technologies (GSM/UMTS & LTE) for improved performance and system utilization.
- Create Site template, data fill, neighbors strategy definitions, parameter value settings/modifications for new sites.
- Capacity planning & dimensioning for Licenses of IUB throughput, HS throughput, AMR Erlang & Number of users.
- Ensure The UMTS multivendor network audit includes RNC features implementation (licensed and activated), Link Budget analysis for every service, capacity plan, IRAT Handover strategy, Selection/Reselection Admission and congestion control study.
- Review and comparison of KPI formulas and statistical counters defined in the system.
- Design parameters and KPI analysis with the highlighting of configuration constraints in achieving target KPIs
- Ensure Parameter audits and Conducting New Feature Trial (Load Based Handover, Amr Wb, Fast Dormancy, RRC Load Control, Eul/DCH Load Balancing, Eul 2ms Soft Congestion) to improve Network Performance.
- Analyse Technical preliminary network design, planning, integration and Pre launch optimization for UMTS network.
- Study and customer approval of KPIs definition and test protocols leading to the commercial acceptance of the network.
- Analyse and Conduct (if required) benchmark Drive tests of different locations/cities in the region.
- Analyse and Conduct (if required) issue based drive/walk tests.
- Monitor Signalling tools Usage.
- Monitor VIP Subscriber and issue identification/resolution
- Monitor High level KPI and issue escalation
- Customer Experience Management and NPS improvement
Essential Skills:
- RF Interface knowledge, DT & Performance management tools.
- Good Knowledge of GSM Architecture, Protocols & Call Flows
Desireable Skills:
- Independent and Self driven
- Good Analytical skills
- Proactive approach
- Hands on experience of 3G RF
- Sound knowledge of BSS and Core network
