Java Developer

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for obtaining customer information, writing requirements, creating design documents, developing and maintaining front end interface as well as other software modules as needed with a high level of software quality, testability and usability in mind.

General Responsibilities:

• Analyze network architecture and industry network management software to recommend and design GUI for products.

• Interact with customers to collect requirements and create software design documents.

• Demonstrate designs using documents, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams.

• Design GUI that is user friendly, operationally functional and visually appealing using 2D and/or 3D graphics.• Investigate and analyze software issues.

• Follow software development lifecycle processes.

Education and Experience:

•Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

•2 + years of hands-on Java coding experience.

•Good communications skills in spoken and written English.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficient in Java SE/EE, Java FX.

• Strong knowledge in application GUI design (2D and/or 3D).

• NetBeans and/or Eclipse IDE.

• Proficient in SQL database, knowledge of MySQL is a plus.

• Understands and practiced software development process and OOD.

• Strong software debugging and problem solving skills.

• Strong skills in information gathering and requirement documenting.

• Knowledge in Network Management System (NMS) is a plus.

• Quick learner and ability to adapt to fast-paced development environment
