| Job Description: |
The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer/Telecommunication with specialization in IP Routing Switching and System Administration
- Have 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
Job Description
- Design and implement components of the IP/MPLS network
- Design, build, and manage MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS network, layer 2 switching, and network security
- Validate technical solutions proposed by the vendor
- Design and configure network security component firewalls, IDP, Site-to-Site, Dialup and SSL
- Responsible for integration of various service domains (including IN, VAS, MFS, RAN, CS Core, PS Core etc.) and for their transportation across the MPLS domain
- Prepare SOP/MOP for network security equipment
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RIP), Routers, Switches, Firewall, NAT, PAT, Switching Technology [STP, RSTP, MSTP, PVST, VSTP]
- Knowledge of Service Provider technology [MPLS, MP-BGP, L2/L3 VPNs], IPSEC, SSL VPN is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable Skills
- Networking/Security Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIS, or equivalent etc.
- Knowledge of Cisco, Nortel, Huawei, Juniper (routers, switches and security devices), NMS (EMC2 SMARTS, Solarwinds, Huawei U2000 etc. ), traffic generators/traffic simulators, protocol analyzers, testers etc.
