• Minimum requirement Bachelors in Computer Systems Engineering/Computer Software Engineering/IT Engineering.
• MS in CS/IT would be a plus.
• Have 3-5 years of relevant work experience, out of which minimum 1 year should be in software development.

Job Description:

• Architecting and engineering traditional and advanced next generation integrated network systems to support business imperatives. Solutions may include components from traditional IT networking, security devices and software.
• Draft technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, and other systems integration related documents
• Work collaboratively with product/strategy, new-business development, and architectural organizations.
• Identifying solutions to meet business requirements, timelines and financial goals
• Work with development teams in creation of technical requirements and provide input to system requirements and system design.
• Evaluate organizational capabilities, make recommendations for development of new capabilities or expansion of existing capabilities.
• Evaluate/recommend suitable technologies for development of new services or adaption into existing services.
• Lead or make the recommendation for the improvement and/or development of technical standards.
• Provide technical support for operational issues and/or problems as and when needed.
• Test and validate new hardware, software, and procedures for existing technologies, as well as, any newly developed technologies.
• Demonstrate specialized working knowledge of network technologies e.g Spanning Tree, BGP, MPLS, OSPF.
• Design industry grade Enterprise class networks. Potentially build simulated networks in test labs to validate design or resolve complex problems and compatibility issues.
• Plan and execute complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration activities.
• Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
• Solution Validation by discussing with customers and partners
• Develop work plans and estimates as they relate to systems integration work tasks and team members.
• Responsible for complex projects having significant scope/impact to the business.
• Evaluate new and existing projects, products, and platforms.
• Working with development team to meet the deadlines.
• Proven track record of development spanning multiple languages, platforms and tools including designing testing and building.
• Collaborating with field teams and business units as necessary to ensure a seamless delivery of IoT solutions.
• IT Security Implementation: Manage and implement IT security as per policy for in house services as well as 3rd party message flows. Proactively monitor the environment for security compliance as per information security guidelines.
• Develop financial and technical plan for Quarterly Financial Forecasting for Digital Services.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with migrating applications onto any cloud platform
• Experience with designing and integration of systems across complex telecommunications networks is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of wireless network standards e.g. GPRS/EDGE, WLAN, WiMAX, and LTE.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of IPv4 and IPV6
• Knowledge of the telecom/IoT Protocols such as

- SS7, Diameter, ParlayX, MM7, SMPP, SNMP, LDAP, MQTT, 6LoWPAN, Zigbee, Z-Wave, BLE etc.

• Knowledge of the ESB & applications servers such as TIBCO, Jboss
• Knowledge of Internet of Things, Mobile Apps systems.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle methodology and associated processes and tools.
• Experience in developing web services (REST, SOAP).
• Experience in enterprise development environment.
• Knowledge in ESB domain and SOA governance
• Knowledge on the Integration to the commercially available databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of e-Commerce design & processes (online payment etc)
• Knowledge of internet technologies such as

- Mobile portals, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, Certificates, SSL - Social Media Integration (Facebook, Twitter) - Authentication/Authorization - Single Sign On, Mobile Connect

• Knowledge of embedded device development would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Service-oriented Architectures (SOA) and other forms of application architecture.
• Familiar with web stack (application server, web server, OS, DB), internet protocols, mobile application stack (Android, IOS).
• Familiar with web programming/scripting language (i.e. HTML, javascript, PHP)
