| Job Description: |
Scope of Work:
- The Senior RF Optimization Engineer will be required to work within a team of RF & Software engineers to support automation , testing & development on RAN OSS/BSS data for Huawei RAN (3G & 4G).
- Work on building Logic / algorithms employing Huawei specific knowledge.
- Hands-on experience in using different types of data from OSS to build automation, to define reports, engineering rules, automated detection of issues.
- Validate accuracy of tool’s results such as KPI validation.
- Validate tool’s logic / reports & results by simulating real life examples of degraded KPI’s, alarms etc.
- Support on going UMTS & LTE Optimization Project for a TIER 1 operation in Latin America.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years work experience in RF Planning & Optimization for LTE & UMTS
- Hands on Huawei RAN Experience (Huawei NEs and M/U2000)
- Deep understanding of Huawei RNC, Nodeb, eNB, MME parameters and counters
- Expert in troubleshooting of RF and non-RF related issues using MML commands.
- Radio Network Optimization experience on an LTE network
- End-user / customer problem investigation
- Result oriented with focus on product quality and customer satisfaction
- Excellent Communication skills
