Role Overview:

·         Ensures proper data centre operations

·         Maintenance and security by monitoring its performance in compliance with the pre-defined standards policies and procedures

·         Performs improvements and optimizations in the existing system and procedures by Implementing Data Centre International Standards & best practices

Major Responsibilities:

·         Develops of policies and SOPs for data Centre operations, maintenance and security

·         Designs and recommends improvements in systems and procedures

·         Maintains SLAs for DC operations

·         Maintains OLAs for DC operations

·         Ensures application of developed policies and processes

·         Performs DC change management activities

·         Monitors implementation of Data Centre security plan to ensure that only authorized & monitored operations are performed in Data Centre

·         Monitors the performance of equipment/devices installed in Data Centre

·         Ensures provision of Power & Air Conditioning requirement for IT Infrastructure

·         Maintains activity register for activities performed in Data Centre by Internal as well as Vendor's Staff

·         Measures capacities and perform capacity planning

Control activities:

•        Ensures compliance with budgets, targets, and deadlines through the implementation of cost-efficient controls and solutions

•        Ensures compliance with legal and ethical standards

Required Qualification:

 Advanced degree in computer sciences or engineering (preferably IT)

CDCE Certification will be an edge

Required Experience:

4-6 years of experience in Data Center management and development
