Responsibilities:
Area of Expertise:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Command on MS Office particularly Excel and Visio
Major Responsibilities:
- Management and upkeep of data related to PTCL Satellite bandwidth, Submarine Cable Capacity and cross border International links
- Assignment Routing & Restoration matters related to Submarine Cable systems. Issuing of feasibility and MUX plan for capacity activation for International Transmission network
- Planning of International Capacity via Submarine cables and cross border Txn Systems in collaboration with PIE and Planning teams
- Preparation of Projects for new submarine cables and upgrades and cross border International links.
- Management and implementation of international network project related to Satellite, Submarine cables and cross border links, Consortium backhaul network.
- Coordination work with PTA and National Security Agencies for information and approvals related to International Transmission Network, processing permits for ship repairs in Pakistani Territorial waters for submarine cable during cable cuts.
- Coordinating with INS Islamabad / Karachi for development and maintenance /upgrade works and processing cases for the Approval of higher Management where required.
