Overview

Our Digital Content Interns will be spending approximately 40 hours per week helping Social Media Beast editors and copywriters with research, content curation, and writing for our clients. Clients include USA attractions, restaurants, and other small businesses. Interns will learn more about social media writing and strategy, and will be able to apply these skills to actual clients’ content calendars. In addition to writing for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, interns will also get the chance to write blogs for certain clients. Interns will:

• learn how to forge partnerships with clients

• grow his/her writing skills, particularly for social media

• become familiar with a marketing agency setting

Responsibilities

• Writing blogs and posts for Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms.

• Assisting Content Strategists and Account Managers on client projects.

• On-site client visits, internal meetings and other projects as needed.

Skills

• Have a keen interest in writing and can perform with a deadline.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

• Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram).

• Experience in writing marketing copy a plus.

• Knowledge of blogging a plus.

• Sophomore/Junior/Senior; Communications/Marketing or similar Major
