Job Description:

Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for maintenance of data center power systems (AC and DC) Generators, air conditions and fire suppression system.

Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policy and procedures

Accountability of the Job:

· Ensure Electrical power availability above 99.9% for data center

· Troubleshooting experience on all the power elements (DC, AC & HVAC System)

· Healthcheck of power system Both AC (Eltek inverter) & DC (Emerson Rectifier)

· Energy Efficiency enhancement at Core Facilities

· Technical Audits to ensure effective Preventive maintenance & Corrective maintenance

· Electrical project execution monitoring & reporting and Project Reporting and tracking Contracts & contractor management

· Inventory management of the spares power, Telco and microwave

· Routine Health check of Fire system, Air condition & DG sets Daily / Weekly Monthly bases

· Coordination with Vendors on time support and ensuring processing of the monthly invoices timely

· Managing equipment life cycle (EOL replacement)

Technical Invoice Verifications, Capitalization

Regular duties

· Routine PM of DG's

· Vendor Management

Periodic Duties

· Routine PM of Power System

Knowledge and Competencies:

· Solid understanding of AC power, ATS panel, PF panel

· Practical experience on more the 200 KVA gensets, at least initial level fault finding and rectification

· Knowledge of working of higher capacity air con

· Knowledge and experience of rectifiers, inverters, DC power distributions

· Knowledge about the Fire suppression system like FM200, CO2 etc

Education and/or Experience:

DAE, B-Tech, Engineering Degree in Electrical/Power/MSC Power infrastructure
2-5 years’ experience in Data Center
