Reporting to the Development Manager, you will be responsible for working on the design and implementation of Java applications. You will be part of a passionate Agile team built on creativity and passion for software development 

Responsibilities:

• You will be working in a fast-paced Agile-based development environment.
• Analyze and detail product requirements.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Write unit tests for Java and JavaScript.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for design reviews.
• Defect correction.
• Document software components

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Java Development
• Good understanding of web based technology, MVC applications, HTML5, CSS3, JSP, Servlet, AJAX, JQuery, Eclipse and Subversion/Git
• Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems
• Understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and methodology
• Hands on experience in both HR & Financial modules of SAP will be preferred
• Must have strong organization and good attention to detail
• Must be good in problem solving and analytical skills
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum qualification is Bachelors of Computer Science or equivalent

Assets:

Good understating/knowledge of:

• J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JSP, Servlet, Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse and Subversion/Git  
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Experience in Software development of enterprise applications like (Financial & HCM applications)
• SQL and Relational Databases
• Agile based development environment
