We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with 4+ years of experience in automotive product development, specifically in sheet metal and die casting components.

Education:

• B.E. in Mechanical/Industrial & Manufacturing/Automotive Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage #CAD design projects throughout the product development lifecycle
• Supervise CAD projects and review drawings, models, and manufacturing feasibility
• Assist in tool design and product development, including prototype creation and testing
• Prepare 3D CAD models, assembly layouts, and technical drawings
• Coordinate with CNC, tool, and die shops during the new product development cycle
• Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analyses to ensure optimized designs suitable for die casting and sheet metal fabrication
• Collaborate on mold and tool designs, ensuring alignment with product specifications and production feasibility
• Develop comprehensive product documentation including setup sheets, inspection guidelines, and process documentation
• Support assigned projects by tracking progress and ensuring completion within targeted timelines
• Assist in the development of components as per customer specifications
• Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives through design optimization and material efficiency
• Coordinate with local & international customers
